Buffalo, New York has been chosen as the location for the 1st annual
"Great Lakes International Iron Fest 2008," located just outside the
heart of the city at the Worthington Business Complex.
New York State Designer Blacksmiths
are proud to present four very talented demonstrators from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Ontario and New York. In addition, you will enjoy open forging areas,
food, an arts auction, raffles and all the other elements of a weekend full of blacksmithing fun.
Registration Information
On-site registration will begin at 12:00pm Friday, May 23, 2008 in the entrance to the dining gallery area.

For your purchases, please bring cash and your checkbook, no credit
cards accepted. Canadian exchange will be at Par.

Mark Puigmarti and Bob Cook
Mark Puigmarti and Bob Cook will demonstrate traditional metalwork with modern techniques.

Andy will demonstrate his design process in
developing a decorative lamp that shows off a variety of textures as well as the use
of aluminum bronze.

Using his historical traveling forge, as well as modern equipment,
Jymm will demonstrate the production of historically correct reproductions.
|
Kim will discuss the restoration work of old Masterworks,
with the theme, “A New Look”.
